UGA Legend to Speak at HUMC

On Sunday, January 21, at 6:00 p.m., Robert Edwards, legendary Bulldog running back and NFL Pro Bowler, will share his story about football, faith, and perseverance. After being drafted in the first round as a New England Patriot, Edwards suffered what might have been a career-ending injury, nearly losing his leg. But he fought hard to play again, coming back with the Miami Dolphins in 2004. He finished his career as an All-Star in the Canadian Football League.

Robert is married to Tracy and has three  children, Journee, Justice, and Jordan.

The event is free and open to all, but guests may contribute to an offering. Robert will sign autographs, and there will be a raffle for footballs.  Light refreshments provided. Music from our own Bear Creek Revival.
