Hampton
parade at 7pm
We are hosting a LIVE NATIVITY for
the “Home for Christmas” Event in Downtown Hampton on December 4th!
What a precious and exciting way to bring our community to our
doorsteps! We’ll serve cookies and hot chocolate and have tours of
God’s beautifully decorated sanctuary. I hope that you are as
excited as I am about what can be a very moving event for our church
and community. See below for the various ways you can come along
side Outreach to make this a wonderful event.
Volunteers are needed in
many areas, including:
§ Planning & Preparation
§
Donations of Cookies / Hot Chocolate
AS MANY AS POSSIBLE!
§
Serving snacks that night
§ Constructing
stable & manger, temporary fencing, lighting
Need a FEW GOOD MEN!
§
Characters (Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Wisemen, Shepherds)
ALL WHO ARE WILLING WILL HAVE
A SPOT!
§ Costumes (organizing, not
necessarily making)
§ Set Up & Tear Down/Cleanup
ALL HANDS ON DECK
§
Animals and keepers
Let me know if you have (or
know someone who has) small farm animals we can use.
The McGinnis have agreed for a
goat, we still need a donkey
I thank you in advance for
anything you can do. Please pray for this event; that it comes
together and that God continues to guide us along the way; that with
His blessing people will be reached and souls will be touched by the
experience. Let it start many family conversations about that
little Baby in the manger.
